Finding You a Suitable Property

Embark on your journey by setting up an online search profile with us. This profile helps us understand your unique situation and specific requirements, ensuring that we match you with a property that suits your needs perfectly.

Arranging a viewing

While we accept applications from virtual tours, we prefer to enhance your experience with an in-person, accompanied viewing. This allows you to truly visualize and connect with the property before making any decisions.

Submitting an Application

Once you've found the perfect place, it's time to formally put forward a rental application. We will take some more information at this stage such as your preferred move-in date, rental term confirmation of all residents and whether any children or pets will be living with you at the property all this information will be collated and put forward to the Landlord.

Reserving the property

Upon acceptance of your application, a holding deposit equivalent to one week's rent is required to reserve the property. This initiates the application process and marks the property ‘Let agreed online’.

Verification and Reference Checks

To ensure a seamless process, we conduct thorough checks. You'll need to provide identification, proof of residence, and submit references. Our reference checks include a credit check, employment verification, and a check with your previous landlord to ensure a reliable and trustworthy tenancy.

Contract Signing and Initial Payments

If all checks are satisfactory, we'll send the tenancy contract for your review and signature. At this stage, you'll be required to make the move-in payments, including the first month's rent (minus the holding deposit paid at the start to reserve the property), and the security deposit. We also offer a deposit-free option for your convenience which a member of the team will happily provide further information on.

At The Property Centre, we're committed to making your move-in process as seamless as possible. Contact us today to begin your journey towards finding the perfect home.
